Our Founder - Michael Puls - May 10, 1952 - August 25, 2017

Michael Puls, Founder of Foley & Puls, was a multifamily strategist with more than 30 years experience in all phases of residential real estate.  He began his career as a construction superintendent at US Home and progressed to Regional President with assignments in Florida, Illinois and Texas.  His leadership positions with single and multi-family developers and builders across the southeast provided him with a solid foundation in the fundamentals of residential housing.  As Vice President of Commercial Lending and Development with Dallas-based Murray Savings,  he closed over $120mm in loans across the southeast and mid-west and managed the development of a large, multi-use development in Cary, NC.  Mike led a property management company with over 4,000 units across the south and mid-west.  

Michael formed Foley &  Puls in 1989 to bring strategic insight and research methodology to the multi-family industry.   As President of Foley & Puls, Mike created a deliberate approach to multi-family real estate market intelligence and created a series of proprietary financial and statistical models that provide his clients with an intimate knowledge of the potential of each real estate investment.   

Misty G. Puls

Misty Puls leads the research, statistical modeling and analytic areas of multifamily research.

While with Foley & Puls, she has been involved in the research and underwriting of more than 250 multi-family projects and has developed a deep understanding of the multi-family industry.

Meggan Taylor

Meggan Taylor, Senior Analyst, has over 10 years in research and analysis.  As a database analyst, she has designed relational and multi-dimensional database models and created business reporting solutions utilizing Oracle, DB2 and Hyperion Essbase.  Using business intelligence models, she created strategic solutions for clients such as Quaker Oats, Fed Ex, Caterpillar and Helzberg Diamonds.  

Meggan joined Foley & Puls in 2012.  She has an MS in Library and Information Science from the University of North Texas, where she was a member of the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society and a BS in Information Systems from the University of Texas at Arlington.
